The item is not the same as the prb3 circiut board as the discription says it is. I ended up buying a new gate opener.

big money saved!
I had two commercial style doors that would not work likely due to a lightning event or some other electrical surge. After my limited knowledge troubleshooting of switches, capacitors, etc, I believed both boards were fried as little else could be wrong. At that point I called in the pro and he told me the units were antiquated with no market available parts. He recommended new openers on both doors. I agreed and he told me to expect a call from the order department to verify purchase. Well thank goodness they never called. Frustrated, I took pictures of the board, reviewed the schematic under the opener cover and got to googling. Well up popped these boards so I thought for the price I would take a gamble with my antiquated opener and order one. Only a couple days later, I installed the board, plugged everything in and woala! a working door. That same day I ordered another, which ultimately fixed the second opener. I don't have an exact figure for the cost of the new openers but I know it was shaping up to be over $2000. Thanks for everything: stocking the part, providing a fair price and delivering well packaged in a timely fashion!
